The alarm rang. She rolled over, turned it off, and inhaled. The day began.

Got dressed.
Made the beds.
Poured coffee, scrambled eggs.
School drop-off.
Folded laundry.
Cleaned the bathrooms.
Paid the bills.
Ate a banana.
Prepped dinner.
Finished a work article.
School pick-up.
Activities.
Dinner.
Dog walk.
Bedtime stories.
Tucked kids in.

Finally, she sat down.

“How was your day?” her husband asked.

“Good,” she replied.

“Busy day tomorrow?”

She smiled faintly. “Not really.”
